The charitable work of the Cotton Patch Quilters is spear-headed by a group of workers who meet from 10:00am to 12:00pm every Wednesday morning.
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, we have a long day and stay as late as we want, usually 2:30ish (brown bag lunch).
You are not obligated to stay the entire time. Nor, is there an obligation to show up on time.
We currently have 24 members of the charity bee. Not, all attend every Wednesday, but some do.
The meeting takes place in the Fiber Room of Lyndon House Art Center.
Our group works tirelessly to provide the guild with opportunities to work on various community projects.
The “Charity Bee” is open to anyone (member or not) who is interested in serving the community through the act of quilting.
Do as little or as much as you want .
It is a little overwhelming at first to see these busy bees in action. But, after a few visits, you will feel comfortable to jump right into the fun.

Also, we have so many quilt tops and so few long-armers in our group. We just can’t keep up. We are asking volunteers from the Guild to check out a quilt or two every month. Return it to us the next month quilted. You do not need to trim it. Nor, do you need to bind it. Our busy bees will do that part. We know how much everyone hates binding!
